Our Founder: Mary Wolters
Mary founded CARE in 2023 as a high school student after attending local art activities at libraries in her youth. She built the organization from the ground up, organizing art and coding lessons across multiple libraries and establishing the student-led model CARE still follows today.
Our Director: Ashley Du
Ashley is a senior at Conestoga High School and was one of CARE’s initial founding leaders. After Mary graduated from high school, she started to lead CARE as its Director. She manages CARE's partnerships, programming and volunteers, furthering the organization's mission of making coding and art education accessible to youth across the community. Ashley believes learning should be hands-on and judgment-free. She works to make sure every student who attends a CARE session feels welcome and empowered to keep exploring.
